I’ve been interested in Rive for a while now. Every so often, I’d check it out, play around with its features, and even use it for small projects. But I never fully committed to it—mainly because it was missing two key design elements: shadows and blurs. As a designer and developer, I kept having to switch between different tools just to get the look I wanted, which was frustrating.

That all changed when Rive introduced vector feathering. This new feature brings optimized shadows and blurs, and it’s a total game-changer. It’s not just an extra option—it’s been thoughtfully designed to fit right into Rive’s workflow. Now, I can create polished, professional designs without constantly jumping between tools.

With vector feathering, I started using Rive more seriously, and it just clicked. Whether I’m working on a SwiftUI project for iOS or experimenting with Unreal Engine for game development, Rive fits seamlessly into my workflow. It’s no longer just a design tool—it’s become an essential part of how I create.
