Lately, I’ve been thinking about how we live—how we’re all caught in this rhythm that doesn’t always feel like living. It’s like we’re constantly busy, constantly chasing something, but when we stop to breathe, we’re not even sure what for.
And here’s what keeps circling in my mind:
You work 8+ hours to live 4.
You work 5 days to enjoy 1.
You work 8+ hours to eat in 15 minutes.
You work 8+ hours and sleep only 5.
You work all year just to get a week or two off.
You work all your life to retire when you’re already tired.
And in the end, you just sit with your last sighs, wondering where it all went.
Over time, it starts to feel like life becomes a strange version of yourself—like you’re watching a loop of your own routine, slowly forgetting who you were before it all started.
We’ve gotten so used to this way of living—chasing money, approval, status—that we don’t even notice the chains anymore.
But life is short.
Really short.
And it’s not meant to be survived—it’s meant to be lived.
I’m not saying I have it all figured out. I don’t. But I’m starting to see things a little more clearly. And maybe that’s where it begins—just noticing. Noticing the trap. Noticing the time slipping. And choosing, little by little, to live differently.
I’m glad I moved away from that trap a long time ago. Now, I’m my own boss, working from my indie studio, finally doing what I always wanted to do. And trust me—there’s nothing more freeing than building a life that actually feels like yours.
